Mission
My mission is to always stay current with the latest trends and evolving industry. As a former brand educator for Joico Int. working along side some of the industries best, I know the importance ongoing education. My journey in the beauty industry has been incredible. I started as an assistant and grew into owning my own salon, and discovered working in a private studio suite is the perfect fit for me. Nineteen years ago, I began my search for cleaner low-toxic products after developing dermatitis, sensitivities and migraines from traditional salon products. This journey sparked a passion for safer, healthier haircare, which I now share with my clients everyday.
Craft
My craft is more than just hair, its relationships and an art form rooted in connections, expertise, precision and care. With over three decades in this industry I've honed my skills in haircutting, color correction specialist, grey coverage, and lived-in-highlights, using only the safest, most effective low-toxic products available. My passion is to create looks that are beautiful while working with only the best sustainable companies.
Salon
My salon suite is a private space located in Sola Salons of Walnut Creek, CA This is where I have created a one on one experience to not only feel relaxed but also accommodate your needs. Whether you're working from home and bringing your laptop, joining a zoom, or juggling a packed schedule, I offer a serene space where you can work in peace while getting pampered. Enjoy our complimentary coffee bar, snacks, WiFi and parking. Please join me as I serve the Walnut Creek, California community with passion and dedication.
When I'm not being an ingredient nerd and reading labels, you will find me outside the salon, usually behind a Canon camera pretending I'm way more official than I am. I love capturing beauty through my own lens, so don't be surprised when your hair becomes part of my creative moment. The California beaches are my reset button, I love exploring, and I'm figuring out this empty nester life with one still in college. I'm into deep conversations, with a side of silliness, documentaries, books, an eclectic array of music, and anything a little artsy. Creativity is just how I move through life.
